Leveraging technology from the electronics (TV screens) industry, we have a method of reproducibly imprinting nano-scale grooves to any membrane class (ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis). These nanoimprints reduce fouling and increase surface area, turbulence, and flux. This physical engineering process is scalable, continuous, and suitable for even the fastest roll-to-roll mega membrane production lines of the world’s leading membrane manufacturers.
